KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- So far there are two candidates running for Kalamazoo’s 60th House Seat and both of them are democrats.
Yesterday Jon Hoadley made it official, submitting his petitions to the County Clerk.
It’s his first run for office but it’s not his first Campaign. In fact his consulting firm specializes in advocacy campaigns and so he knows his way around an election.
He says the Michigan of today is different than the one of just a few years ago and he says the state needs a legislature that reflects that.
So far no Republicans have filed. They have until next week. The race will likely come down to the August Primary and the face off with Dave Buskirk who submitted his petitions on Wednesday.
