BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A prisoner at the Calhoun County Jail is back in a cell after four hours of unscheduled and unauthorized freedom yesterday.
Brad Wolfinger was a trustee at the Jail, assigned to washing cars when he jumped on a dirt bike and left the jail garage.
The 40-year-old was serving a year for larceny, and was due to be released in December.
Now he faces the prospect of doing more time for prison escape.
Police knew he had family in Colon in St. Joseph County and were waiting for him when he showed up in a change of clothing and his dad’s pick-up.
