DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Ford is recalling nearly 160-thousand late model Focus sedans and Escape crossovers to fix a wiring problem.
In announcing the recall Friday afternoon, Ford said the issue could affect engine performance.
No crashes or injuries have been reported.
The move comes on the heels of Ford's 83-thousand vehicle recall due to transmission problems.
The automaker is notifying owners of Edge, Flex and Taurus models, as well as Lincoln MKS and MKX owners that their vehicles could slip out of gear while moving.
