KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Henderson Castle continues to expand its operations.
The owners have just gotten zoning board approval making it possible to open their “Wine Cave”.
The structure is in West Main Hill next to the historic home built in 1895, and will be used next spring and summer along with a patio bar featuring Fenn Valley wines.
The 11-thousand square foot Queen Anne style structure is now home to a ten room bed and breakfast and a French restaurant.
While it is one of Kalamazoo’s most familiar landmarks, many local residents have never seen the inside.
