KALAMAZOO (WKZO)-- A second suspect from the shoot out on Mount Olivet road that left one teen dead and two others under arrest, has now been bound over to stand trial for attempted murder and gun charges.
21-year-old Tyler Bishop allegedly was with the victim, 19-year old Christopher Adams, when they spotted Duquan Pritchett and two others and decided to confront them over a bad drug deal that involved a counterfeit 100-dollar bill.
Testimony from others who were present revealed that bullets started flying in both directions as soon as they got out of the van.
Bishop apparently missed.
Police say that Pritchett mortally wounded Adams.
Pritchett was bound over to stand trial for murder last week.
