MARSHALL (WKZO)-- It was an example of how news can turn on a dime.
A news conference that was expected to generate more pleas for a missing Marshall juvenile became something quite different when it was announced that 14-year-old Hannah Amaro had just been found in a motel room near Atlanta with a 29-year-old man she met on skype.
Hannah had been missing since Saturday. The girl’s mother thanked Police and the Media for working on the case.
State Police Lt. Chuck Christensen says the suspect could face charges in both states and possibly federal counts as well.
They apparently went through her computer to find out who she had been communicating with, identified the suspect and tracked them to Georgia.
