LANSING (WKZO) --The latest Epic-MRA poll shows that the race between Mark Schauer and Rick Snyder remains tight, but for the first time, the democrat has a bigger number than the incumbent republican.
The two candidates from Battle Creek remain within the margin of error, but Schauer leads 45 to 43, with 12% undecided.
The survey shows that 10% of Schauer’s support comes from voters who say they are republicans. Disillusioned Tea Partiers says electing Schauer would result in gridlock with the republican legislature, and that’s preferable to Snyder.
No debates have been agreed upon, but millions of dollars have been spent security advertising time on the state’s television stations, with some prepared to be on the air straight through to the vote in November. .
