KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A single student has tested positive for Tuberculosis at Kalamazoo Central High.
As a precaution, 300 other students and staff who may have come in contact with him will be tested on Monday to make sure that they have not been exposed.
Health officials think there is a slim chance that anyone else may have contracted TB, but they want to be sure.
Health officials say it’s a good sign that no one is showing symptoms.
It can only been passed on through direct contact, and it can be treated.
Letters and phone calls have been sent out to parents by the District notifying them of the situation.
