CLINTON COUNTY (WKZO) -- There is apparently a lot more behind the death of MSU Student Dustyn Frolka than initially suggested by news reports.
Clinton Co. Prosecutor Charles Sherman says the three teens who were believed to be the ones who dumped him only partially clothed along I-69 earlier this month, planned to rob him.
The Lansing State Journal claims he was beaten with Brass Knuckles, which were found in their car.
A pair of 18-year-olds, Samantha Grigg and Tyrel Bredernitz, and 16-year-old Brendon Heim are formally charged with open murder, armed robbery and conspiracy.
They are all being held without bond.
They were arrested Sunday during a raid on their apartment in Saline. Police also seized illegal drugs.
