GOBLES (WKZO) -- A Kalamazoo man arrested in Gobles over the weekend for his fifth drunk driving violation in the last two years, has now been formally charged.
28-year-old Charles Wiles faces prosecution for being a repeat drunk driver, violating a restriction on his driver’s license and child endangerment. He apparently had his girlfriend’s 4-year-old daughter in the car.
He was spotted by a Van Buren Co. Deputy driving erratically with a malfunctioning headlight.
He flunked a dexterity test and smelled of alcohol.
He is being held on $50,000 bond.
