MASON COUNTY (WKZO) -- A dramatic day of testimony Monday in the Eric Knysz murder trial as his wife Sarah took the stand to testify what happened the night that police say he shot and killed State Trooper Paul Butterfield.
She testified that Eric had taken guns from his dad’s home and sold most of them. He still had gun in the pick-up when they were pulled over.
The suspect’s father, John Knysz was also called to the stand to identify the guns.
Knysz asked his attorney not to cross-examine either his wife or his father, apologizing to Sarah and their new born son, Jaden for putting them through all this.
The little boy was born Christmas Day.
