DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Production of Ford’s medium-duty trucks is expected to move to the United States late this year or in 2015.

The "Detroit News" cites an anonymous source in reporting production of the F-650 and F-750 trucks currently built in Mexico will move to an assembly plant outside of Cleveland.  The Ohio plant makes E-Series vans, which are being replaced by the new Transit.

The production shift was first revealed in the contract Ford signed with the United Auto Workers union in 2011.
