GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- The story of missing Dr. Teleka Patrick has taken another bizarre turn after TV-8 revealed that Grand Rapids Gospel Singer Marvin Sapp had taken out a personal protection order in September to get Patrick to leave him alone.
He claims in the request for the PPO that he had received 400 messages from her, in which she claimed that Sapp was her husband, and that she had been to his home and had contact with his children.
Investigators are reportedly looking into whether Sapp may have been the mystery man who was not mentioned in two videos that surfaced last week. If she had named him, she might have been cited for violating the PPO.
Her family claims they never saw her behave that way and disputes allegatons that she has emotional problems. They say revelations about the P.P.O. may make it harder to find her now.
They are offering a 15-thousand dollar reward for information on her whereabouts.
