ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) - Michigan is going in a different direction with their offense. Wolverines head coach Brady Hoke announced on Wednesday that offensive coordinator Al Borges will not return next season. The move comes after Michigan often struggled on the offensive end while losing five of their final their six games in 2013. Borges also served under Hoke at San Diego State from 2009-to-2010 before following him to Michigan. ESPN reports that Borges will be replaced by Doug Nussmeier, who has spent the past two years as Alabama’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach under Nick Saban.

Bobby Petrino is reportedly set to replace Charlie Strong as the head football coach at the University of Louisville. According to Yahoo! Sports, Petrino will leave his post as head coach at Western  Kentucky to take over the position vacated by Strong, who agreed to become the head coach at Texas on Sunday. Michigan State defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi was among those said to be in the running for the Louisville job.
