LANSING (WKZO) -- A movie that's likely to have crowds lining up around the block is being partly shot in Michigan. The new Batman versus Superman film has a budget of 130 million dollars, and producers say it will create hundreds of jobs in Michigan when filming. The hotel industry alone is expected to get a five million dollar boost from the crews here for production.
The new film, which will star Ben Affleck as Batman and Henry Cavil as Superman, will also require as many as 6,000 extras. The Michigan locations will include Pontiac and Flint. Producers of the movie aren't saying exactly when it will come to Michigan.
The best way to stay on top of that is by watching the website of the Michigan Film Office.
