KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The WMU Board of Trustees has gotten reorganized as they met for the first time this year, electing former Battle Creek Unlimited Director James Hettinger to serve as the Chairman of the Board.
He now lives in Fennville.
They also picked Trustee Mary Asmonga-Knapp to serve as Vice-chair. Both are WMU Grads who were appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Western Board in 2009.
Asmonga-Knapp is Manager of the Family Advocacy Program for the Department of Defense Logistics Agency at the Federal Building in Battle Creek. They will serve one year terms.
