ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) - Michigan is once again a top ten team with the Wolverines rising in the rankings following their win in Saturday night’s battle of the Big Ten unbeatens at Michigan State. The latest Associated Press poll released on Monday showed Michigan moving up from 21st place to tenth in the nation while MSU slipped down four places and is now ranked seventh. The jump in the polls for the Wolverines follows their 9-game winning streak with the last three victories coming over top ten ranked schools.
Michigan’s next game is Thursday at home against Purdue. Meanwhile, Michigan State looks to bounce back from Saturday’s loss when they play tonight at number-15 Iowa.
