HOWELL (WKZO) -- The Judge presiding over the trial of the "I-96 Shooter" is expected to rule today whether the Attorney for Raulie Casteel can use mental illness as a defense.
It comes a day after Casteel took the stand to explain what he was thinking.
He testified that secret messages were being delivered to him during Tiger Broadcasts telling him to shoot at people, because they were part of a government conspiracy against him.
He missed 23-times and the 24th shot hit a Delton man in the posterior who just happened to be driving to a Tigers World Series game at Comerica Park.
Casteel was arrested soon after.
