ATLANTA, GA (WTVB) - The Pistons game last night at Atlanta was postponed because of the winter storm that shutdown much of the Southeast on Wednesday. No makeup date was announced. A state of emergency is in effect for the area, as snow and ice stranded motorists in Atlanta and forced students to sleep at schools. The Piston’s travel plans also apparently factored into the decision as they were reportedly unable to travel from Detroit to Atlanta following Tuesday night's win at the Palace over Orlando.
Detroit’s next game is Saturday at home against Philadelphia.
