KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Public Safety says a Kalamazoo man who set his home and himself on fire late last month when a meth lab exploded at 910 Staples Ave. has now been charged.
It took officers about 20-minutes to put out the blaze back on June 25th.
They found meth lab components and 60 used meth lab cooks discarded in the home.
29-year-old Gregory Tristan Pyles was found later, arrested on outstanding warrants and taken to Bronson Hospital to get treatment for burns to his legs, face and hands.
He has now been charged with a new count of Manufacturing meth after his arrest this week and is being held on 2-thousand dollars bond.
