AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- A problem with the wiring in vanity mirror lights is forcing Chrysler to recall 895-thousand vehicles.
The automaker says the wiring is in the headliner and sun visor and may be a fire hazard if it is not reassembled properly by a dealer. The recall only affects those vehicles that have had headliner or vanity mirror work performed. Chrysler Group says they are aware of at least three related injuries due to the problem.
The vehicles involved in the recall are certain models of the 2011 to 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango.
