LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder has received another endorsement from a statewide business group in his bid for re-election. The Michigan Retailers Association is officially backing Snyder's re-election efforts, citing his support of retail issues and his business experience as key to helping boost the state's business climate and economic growth.
Specifically, the group cites the Shopping Reform and Modernization Act, the Organized Retail Crime Act and Michigan Main Street Fairness legislation. They also support the repeal of the Michigan Business Tax and phase out of the Personal Property Tax.
The endorsement was made unanimously by the MRA Board of Directors.
