CENTREVILLE, MI (WTVB) - The jury resumes deliberations today in the St. Joseph County Circuit Court murder trial of Andy Brown of Portage. He is charged with the shooting death of his former boss, David Locey in the office of his Sturgis accounting firm last fall.
During the trial, the prosecution presented the 9-1-1 call made by his secretary who discovered the body. She then told the dispatcher that she suspected Brown was the likely killer. It’s their third day of deliberations in Centreville.
Jurors were warned by the judge Friday to stick with the facts presented during the three week trial and not speculate, after they submitted an unknown question to the judge.
