ALBION (WKZO) --A parole absconder from Kansas City, Missouri is sitting in the Calhoun County Jail after he was pulled over by a Deputy early Saturday morning for a traffic violation on I-94 near 28 Mile Road.
A quick computer check turned up warrants in Missouri. When they tried to take the 28-year-old into custody, he fought off the deputy and ran into traffic, where he was nearly struck by a car.
He kept running until he was met by two officers in the City of Albion. He tried to fight them too before he was taken into custody.
He is being held for the Missouri warrants, but may face several new charges of resisting arrest in Calhoun County as well.
