LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Snyder will make a decision soon on whether to alter or even terminate the state's contract with Aramark food service. The company has come under fire dozens of times since being hired in December to serve the state's 43-thousand prisoners.
Recently there were at least two incidents where maggots were found in or near the kitchen in state prisons. Last week, four workers were fired after it was revealed they'd had consensual sex with inmates.
Since the state privatized prison food service in December more than six dozen Aramark workers have been fired and banned from prison property.
