KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- West Michigan got pummeled by hail during a mid afternoon storm, with hailstones as large as two inches in diameter reported in Plainwell and in Cooper Township in northern Kalamazoo County.
The fast moving and intense system also dropped a lot of rain quickly and then moved on, leaving a rainbow behind.
It also left scattered power outages.
In Kalamazoo at the peak, there were just over 3-thousand homes and businesses without power and at most, 16-hundred in Calhoun County.
They should all be repaired sometime Monday morning.
