CALHOUN COUNTY (WZKO) -- Calhoun county investigators followed the leads in a drug investigation, and one thing led to another until they had four people in custody on a variety of drug counts, most of them meth related.
It started simply enough, with a complaint about two suspicious women on Coolidge near North Avenue.
They found a working meth lab, a 24-year old woman from Augusta and a Battle Creek woman who was wanted on a felony drug charge.
That led them to Billy Drive in Bedford Township, where officers from the County’s Special Response team raided two homes.
They found a second working meth lab and a 38-year-old man in one of them, and a 42-year old man and heroin in the second home.
Both were arrested on outstanding warrants.
