(WNFL)- Wisconsin driver Matt Kenseth will try to regain the lead in the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings at the Quicken Loans-400 near Detroit. Qualifying takes place this afternoon, with the race set for Sunday at Michigan International Speedway. Kenseth fell to second a week ago with 482 points, 16 behind first-place Jeff Gordon who regained the season points' lead. Paul Menard of Eau Claire, Travis Kvapil of Janesville, and Beloit-born Danica Patrick are also entered. The NASCAR Nationwide Series is also at Dearborn Michigan for the Ollie's Bargain Outlet-250 tomorrow. Menard is entered in that event, along with Tim Schendel of Sparta. The Camping World Truck Series is at Gateway Motorsports Park near Saint Louis for the Drivin' for Linemen-200 tomorrow night. Johnny Sauter of Necedah is now second in the truck standings with 221 points, eleven in back of Matt Crafton.
