COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) - Branch County Sheriff’s Deputies say alcohol was a factor in a motorcycle accident Sunday on I-69 in Coldwater Township that sent a Ft. Wayne couple to the hospital. No helmets were worn in the crash that happened around 1 p.m. yesterday.
According to deputies, they were southbound on the interstate when the 50-year old husband lost control of the bike when the rear tire blew and the motorcycle rolled over on the pavement. Both suffered abrasions and David Frisby was treated for a head injury at the Community Health Center of Branch County.
The accident that occurred between U.S. 12 and Dorrance Road remains under investigation.
