Jury selection continues Wednesday in Centreville murder trial

Andy Brown is being held without bond.

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY (WKZO) -- Jury selection will enter a second day in Centreville for the murder trial of Andy Brown.

The 37-year-old from Portage is charged with the shooting death of his boss, Sturgis Accountant David Locey.

The trial could go on for two to three weeks, and that means jurors will need to be able to make a substantial contribution of time to the process.

That was not the problem yesterday. A number of people who were summoned for jury duty were no shows and had to be called and reminded of their responsibility.

They were told to report Wednesday.

The winnowing process will continue, and when they have 12-jurors and two alternates, opening arguments will begin.
