WARREN (WKZO) -- Chrysler is investing over 63-million dollars to expand its Warren Stamping Plant. The company said construction had already begun on a new production line.
The facility makes stamped parts including hoods, fenders, and roofs for a number of Chrysler vehicles. The plan calls for the installation of a high tech, high-speed press line that will produce 3.6-million parts per year.
The Warren Stamping Plant has been in operation for 65-years and employs approximately two-thousand workers.
