DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Debbie Dingell officially kicked off her run for the U.S. House of Representatives seat being vacated by her husband John Dingell.  She told a gathering in Dearborn Friday morning her husband is irreplaceable but believes she can "do a good job in Congress for the men and women of labor that I've worked with side-by-side" to fight for Michigan jobs.

Dingell plans to make campaign stops in Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti to meet with supporters. John Dingell holds the record for the longest term in the U.S. House dating back to 1955.
