KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- If you plan to fly anywhere today, you may want to check ahead on-line first.
Over 17-hundred flights were cancelled yesterday as inclement weather shut down or disrupted operations and flights at some major hubs, and that grounded and cancelled flights at airports in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids.
Daniel Baker with Flightaware.com says heavy overnight snow and ice storms are causing more problems from Dallas to Chicago to the East Coast. .
It is just the latest in what has been a very rough few months for the airlines who have seen a record number of schedule disruptions due to the wintry weather.
