DETROIT (WKZO) -- The winter-that-won’t-go-away is being blamed for slow auto sales in February.
The only U.S. automaker that showed any improvement, Chrysler did so because they sold Jeeps and 4-wheel drive Rams to folks who wanted to beat the snow.
GM was down 1% and Ford was down 6%. Chrysler was up 11%.
Analysts think the demand is still there and sales were only delayed and will show up in even more robust sales numbers this spring.
