DETROIT (WKZO) -- Testimony in the lawsuit challenging Michigan's voter-approved ban of same sex marriage continues in Detroit.
Brigham Young University economist Joseph Price is expected to be back on the stand for the state. He testified Tuesday that it is "ideal" for children to be raised by a married, heterosexual couple.
Plaintiffs April DeBoer and Jayne Rowze are also challenging Michigan's adoption law preventing them from adopting each other's children. They claim the marriage ban is unconstitutional.
