AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- The first Jeep vehicle to be produced by Fiat and Chrysler was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show Tuesday.
The Jeep Renegade shares a chassis with the Fiat 500X but has many exclusive features. Designers improved the strength of vehicle to meet off-road capabilities and raised the height of the mini-SUV by as much as eight inches.
The Renegade has a number of powertrain options including diesel motors, and both manual and automatic transmissions. The vehicle is slated to be in showrooms in 2015.
