NEW YORK (WKZO) -- Michigan is sending three teams to the NCAA Baskeball Tournament.
The Wolverines will be the #2 seed in the Midwest Region taking on the Wofford Terriers, the 15th seed in the opening round on Thursday in Milwaulkee.
Despite beating Michigan in the Big Ten Tourney, the Spartans only earned a 4th seed in the East Region. Michigan State will take on the Delaware Blue Hens in the opening round in Spokane on Thursday, and may be favored to take the region despite their seeding.
Western Michigan earned their way into the Big Dance for the first time in a decade by winning the Mac Tourney. They will be the 14th seed in the South Region, and will play the #3 seed, Syracuse in Buffalo on Thursday.
There could be a lot of basketball fans from Michigan calling in sick on Thursday.
