GRAND RAPIDS (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder was invited to deliver the Republican Party’s weekly radio address to the nation.
He touted common-sense solutions to economic problems and urged civility and cooperation among politicians in getting the jobs done that need doing.
He said “It's not about more and bigger government. It's about creating an environment for more and better jobs.
That means getting spending under control, balancing budgets, freeing entrepreneurs from unnecessary regulation and letting the free market take off and do what it does best."
Snyder spoke with the Grand Rapids skyline behind him, showing that there is more to Michigan than Detroit.
He made no mention of the current debate raging in the state over same-sex marriage.
The address may have been taped before Judge Friedman issued his ruling.
