(WNFL)- The Milwaukee Brewers have not lost three straight games this season -- but that's what would happen if they fall at Cincinnati tonight. The Brewers lost to the Reds 8-to-3 last night, giving the Crew back-to-back defeats for only the second time this year. A struggling offense is a big reason for that. Milwaukee has only hit .219 and scored 16 runs in their last five games, and they lost three of those. That doesn't bode well for tonight's starter. Right-hander Wily Peralta has only had 12 runs of support for the Brewer offense in his last four outings. Peralta is 3-and-1 with a 2.65 ERA. He gave up three runs in seven innings last Sunday in a home loss to the Chicago Cubs. Cincinnati will send right-hander Mike Leake to the hill. He's 2-and-2 with a 3.82 ERA. He's coming off a three-run loss at Atlanta last Saturday in which he tied a career-high by giving up three homers.
