DETROIT (WKZO) -- A top General Motors engineer who headed up the automaker's internal probe into problems with ignition switches two years ago is leaving the company. According to GM officials, Jim Federico has retired to "pursue other opportunities." Federico started looking into the ignition switch problem in 2012, but no recall was issued by GM for 2.6-million cars until February 2014.
