LANSING (WKZO) -- The water is rising on the Great Lakes. MLive.com reports as the ice and snow melt and run into the waters, levels on all five lakes have gone up since March.
Lake Ontario levels are up just over 21-inches, and Lake Erie has risen 13.3-inches. Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, considered one body of water, is up nearly ten inches and Lake Superior levels have gone up by 5.9-inches.
Michigan and Huron are now approaching their long-term average after being at record lows in the past two years.
