ANN ARBOR, MI (WTVB) - Paul DeWolf of Schoolcraft, the University of Michigan medical student killed by burglars last year, has received posthumous honors at commencement ceremonies in Ann Arbor Friday. His sister Rebecca accepted his diploma. He also received the Patrick John Niland award from his classmates for being the graduate that best exhibited compassion and a cheerful demeanor.

They will plant a red oak in his honor on campus on Sunday, and then hold the first annual Paul DeWolf run, a fundraiser for returning veterans.
