KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo’s Chapter of Habitat for Humanity is one of the oldest in the country, and since then they have built over 200 homes in the community for low income families.
Now they have a new home of their own and they dedicated it last evening.
Executive Director Don Jones says the new facility takes them into the future.
Mayor Bobby Hopewell says its more than just providing houses, it providing homes which provide opportunities for family, stability, education and jobs.
The new home for Habitat is on Gull Road just down the hill from Borgess Hospital.
