UNDATED (WHTC) -- To make roads a bit easier to deal with for holiday motorists, M-DOT is lifting traffic restrictions in as many areas as possible beginning Friday at 3 P.M. through 6 A.M. Tuesday. Triple-A Michigan expects more than 1.1 million Michigan residents will head out of town this weekend. Lane restrictions will be removed on 80 of the 108 projects statewide. In Ottawa County, M-45 will have all lanes open in both directions at 120th Ave. Local law enforcement is also running their Click-it-or-Ticket campaign so be sure to buckle up before heading out on any trip.
