KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A meth cook who got caught in a rolling meth lab is sitting in the Kalamazoo County Jail waiting for his first court date after fleeing from police.
Deputies tried to pull the driver over for a moving violation on East Michigan near River St. in Comstock Township, but the suspect bolted.
After a short pursuit, deputies broke off the chase for safety reasons near Miller Road.
The suspect made it all the way to the 17-hundred block of Palmer before he crashed.
He tried to flee on foot but was quickly captured.
They found marijuana, meth, and components for making methamphetamines in the wreck.
The suspect was already wanted on outstanding warrants.
Now he will also face additional charges including operation of a meth lab, possession of methamphetamine, Fleeing and Eluding and Resisting and Obstructing officers.
