DEARBORN (WKZO) -- Ford is the latest Detroit Automaker to join the growing list of auto recalls with a declaration that over a million of their cars may have problems.
Ford is recalling close to one-point-four million vehicles in North America, most of them for power-steering issues.
Auto Safety expert Sean Kane says as cars get more complex, they are subject to more problems, but they are often just software problems and easier to fix.
Ford is also recalling about 200-thousand Taurus sedans because of a corrosion issue.
It's also recalling another 82-thousand Ford, Mercury and Lincoln sedans because of floor mats that may interfere with the gas pedal.
