DETROIT (WKZO) -- Vice President Joe Biden gave credit to unions on Labor Day.
He spoke in Detroit to highlight the basic workplace rights that came about as a result of organized unions.
Biden talked about the importance of making sure America has a strong economy and that the workers share in the growth, giving unions and the labor movement that was born in Detroit much of the credit for creating the great American middle class. .
He accused Republicans of standing up for Wall Street and the top one-percent while ignoring the needs of a dwindling middle class.
He also chastised Burger King and other firms for planning to relocate their headquarters to other nations to avoid having to pay U.S. Taxes and pay their fair share.
