QUINCY (WKZO) — A Branch County man is being held on 100-thousand dollars bond after a particularly savage domestic assault on his girlfriend and her mother.
Police say that 23-year-old Randy Regan Jr. was drunk when he arrived home at his place on Cole St. and started yelling and hitting his girlfriend, Kristi Kiser.
When her mother, Barbara Troyer came to the defense of her daughter, Quincy Police say he turned on her, knocking her to the floor and kicking her in the head.
The older woman was taken to Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo with a serious closed head injury and admitted into the Intensive Care Unit.
Regan has been charged with domestic assault, and aggravated assault less than murder.
Kiser also required treatment for abrasions and cuts.
