COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The largest one day event for agricultural each year in Branch County is coming Monday, with the 48th Annual Farmers’ Day. The exhibit area at the Branch Area Careers Center opens at 9:00 am. Eight morning educational sessions run from 10 am-11:30 am. After a lunch break from 11:30 am-1:30 pm, another eight educational sessions will run from 1:30 pm-3:00 pm. The exhibit area will be open the entire day.
The sack lunch offered costs $3.00, with all proceeds going to the Agri-Business Scholarship Fund. Last year’s scholarship winners were Dalton Hard and Katelyn Walters.
Farmers’ Day is sponsored by the Branch County Agri-Business Council, Michigan State University Extension, and the Branch Area Careers Center.
