PAW PAW (WKZO) — A 24-year-old man from Kalamazoo is in custody in Van Buren County after he was stopped with 4.85 grams of cocaine in his vehicle.
Deputies tried to pull his Chevy Tahoe over on 63rd St. for defective equipment just before 2 A.M. Wednesday morning when he ducked into a driveway and turned off his lights, thinking that would make him invisible to the deputies behind him.
It didn’t work.
He was jailed for possession with intent to deliver and driving on a suspended license.
His name is being withheld pending formal charges.
